Area Farmers Reflect on President's Visit

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
As the fifteen minutes of fame begin to dwindle in Aurora Missouri this week, area farmers begin to reflect on the presidents visit. While many farmers are thrilled the president made a stop in their area, some are disappointed about the content of the speech. His speech lasted less than half an hour but covered everything from farm issues to the war in Afganistan. Area farmers are still encouraged by Bush`s interest and commitment to agriculture but say they hope congress will show the same interest.
