Window Tinting Bill

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Missouri lawmakers are trying to fix a mistake they made last year. Missouri drivers affected by the law, that lessened the amount of tint on rear windows, can breathe a sigh of relief. The House of Representatives passed legislation that would reverse this law. In 2001, lawmakers passed a law allowing front windows to be tinted. At the same time, lawmakers set more restrictive limits for back windows. This caused thousands of cars to be tinted illegally. The bill will move to the senate before a final decision will be made.
