Safe Kids Coalition Selected for Grants

A Jasper and Newton County kids coalition receives national honors. The Safe Kids Coalition has been selected by the United States Fire Administration to receive two grants. One for $2,500 and a second for %5,000. The Children`s Miracle Network uses the Safe Kids Coalition to teach fire safety. CMN will use the grant money to start a media campaign including bi-lingual ads, as well as purchase smoke detectors to give out in the area.
