Don Seneker, 1936 - 2002

Funeral arrangements have been made for a Lawrence County man who left quite a legacy in the Four State area. Don Seneker was a mentor and friend to many students and law enforcement officers. Don Seneker played an important role in establishing many law enforcement programs. Seneker made many contributions to the department, but more importantly was a mentor and friend to those he taught and worked with. Seneker connected with people on many different levels. Seneker has touched so many people`s lives and will be missed. Services for Seneker will be at 1:00pm on Thursday at the First Presbyterian Church in Mount Vernon. Burial will be in Ozark Prairie Cemetery. Seneker died Monday night at Saint John`s Regional Health Center in Springfield from complications of heart surgery. He was 66-years-old.
