An Oklahoma pastor is accused of embezzling funds from church accounts. 37-year-old Fred Thomas Simpkins is charged with embezzlement by a trustee. Simpkins is the pastor of church on the lake, a full-gospel, non-denominational congregation in Delaware County. He`s accused of writing large checks for items such as a Tulsa apartment, a Shangri-La membership and internet pornography. According to the sheriff`s department, Simpkins resigned last month. By then, the church owed about $13,000. Church members say they paid back the depts. with their own money. The congregation is still without a pastor.
