Independent Living Center Expansion

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
A local not-for-profit organization is experiencing growing pains, forcing Joplins Independent Living Center to expand. Over the last year, the center has grown by leaps and bounds, due to new contracts and more staff to accommodate consumers. The center has increased its consumer load from 40 people to over 300 people in the last year. Now renovations are a must. The construction began about three months ago. The new center is expected to be complete by the end of next month. If you`d like to donate money for the expansion, contact the Independent Living Center.
