Children`s Haven Coming to Missouri

Homeless and neglected children in southwest Missouri will soon have a place to call home. Plans to open the first Children`s Haven are underway. A house on West 7th Street will be home to the newly formed Children`s Haven of Southwest Missouri. The organization will provide housing to children whose families are unable to care for them during a crisis time. The haven will house 8 to 12 children at one time. So far, the house is empty, but the Children`s Haven Board hopes people will help donate items to fill the home. The house is expected to be ready by May 1st.
