Nature Reach Museum

Updated: January 7, 2009
A nature house re-opens after a devastating fire. The nature`s Reach Program at Pittsburg State University houses many exotic animals. After a fire gutted the room in October 2000 the university expanded the facility and turned into a museum. It is housed inside a former biology lab in the Heckert Wells Hall. Renovations to the building were dependent on donations and volunteers to return the space back to normal. The Nature Reach Museum is open to the public each Tuesday from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
