A Four State county begins looking into new zoning laws to preserve the community. With so much attention surrounding the now defunct construction of chicken houses in Ottawa County Oklahoma. County commissioners begin looking at new zoning laws. At their weekly meeting, the commission voted to appoint a committee to explore options for rezoning of Ottawa County in an effort to keep major industry from coming into rural areas. County commissioner James Leake says Simmon`s Foods proposal to build 90 chicken houses near the town of Narcissa has been a catalyst for these possible changes. Leake says the committee will be appointed at next Mondays meeting and recommendations could be made within 120 days.
