By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Four-State residents will get help from the federal government. President Bush has officially declared that a major disaster exists in the state of Missouri. Now those residents hit the hardest by last week`s ice storm will be getting much needed assistance. 33 counties, including Vernon County in southwest Missouri, have been approved for federal funding under this action. Those residents wishing to seek assistance can do so by contacting the Federal Emergency Management Agency. That number is 800-621-FEMA.
