New Duenweg Police Chief

A retired Joplin police officer takes the position of an area police chief. Gerald Tuck was appointed as Duenweg`s new police chief last night. Tuck has an extensive background in law enforcement service. He served as a police officer in Joplin for 20 years. In fact Tuck retired just four months ago. Tuck will earn $26,000 a year for his position. The city of Duenweg has been without a police chief after the former chief, Rick Marble, resigned. Marble resigned after he was charged in connection with his role in a high-speed chase.
