After a month long investigation, a Four-State man is charged with embezzling over $17,000. 33-year old David Reed of rural Fairland is accused of embezzling over $17,000 in cash from the Green Country Co-Op in Afton. After a yearly audit the co-op discovered discrepancies in their books. Investigators say King had been altering bank and company documents to hide the theft of the money. Reed currently free on $20,000.
