Pharmacist's Request for Change of Venue Denied

Federal prosecutors file a motion to keep the trial of a Missouri pharmacist charged with diluted cancer drugs in Kansas City. Prosecutors say there`s no proof that Robert Courtney cannot get an impartial jury. Courtney`s attorneys want his March 11th trial moved to Minneapolis or Springfield, Missouri. A magistrate judge denied the request, so they appealed to the trial judge. Prosecutors say the magistrate`s decision keeping the trial in Kansas City should be upheld. Courtney faces 20 charges of mis-branding and tampering with chemotherapy drugs. He has pleaded innocent. He could get 196 years in prison if convicted.
