By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
A Four State county looks to re-zone its rural areas to regulate unwanted industrial growth. One week ago, Ottawa County Commissioners appointed a committee to look into rezoning the county`s rural districts. The rezoning proposal came after Arkansas based Simmons Foods wanted to build 90 chicken houses in the community of Narcissa. Tonight, a meeting is scheduled to appoint a chairman and develop plans for possible rezoning ideas within rural Ottawa County. The meeting is scheduled for 5:30 at Ottawa county annex.
