A Kansas City pharmacist is being arraigned on 20 counts of diluting cancer-fighting drugs. Courtney and drug maker Eli Lilly were hit with a wave a lawsuits today, related to deaths allegedly caused by weakened chemotherapy. Documents filed today claim Courtney was responsible for deaths linked to his alleged weakening of cancer drugs for profit. Some of the lawsuits name drug maker Eli Lilly. Those lawsuits are seeking unspecified emotional and punitive damages and allege that Lilly knew, but did nothing about Courtneys drug tampering. Lilly says the lawsuits are totally without merit.
