Several area departments work together to put a Northeast Oklahoma man behind bars. A tip lead officers in Northeast Oklahoma to a house along Highway 10 in Ottawa County. They spotted 39-year old Sam Fitzgerald, who is wanted on a federal drug and weapons warrant. Fitzgerald fled in his car and lead officers on a chase that went through parts of Ottawa County and Newton County. Investigators say another tip lead officers to a property in Joplin where Fitzgerald was eventually arrested. No word yet on what charges Fitzgerald will face.
