Foot Pursuit Ends with Arrest after Burglary

A Four-State man is arrested for a burglary after leading officers on a foot pursuit. A warrant was issued for 35-year old Bruce Needham of Peoria, Oklahoma in connection with a weekend burglary. Officers spotted Needham in an area outside Riverton, where he was working. He started running from the officers, but was captured after a short pursuit. He has been charged with first-degree burglary, kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon, child endangerment and vandalism. Needham is being held in the Cherokee County Jail, awaiting extradition back to Oklahoma. Bond has been set at $100,000.
