Joplin Voter Telephone Survey

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
The next phone call you answer could influence a future election. The Joplin City Council has hired the ETC Institute to conduct a telephone survey of voters from last Novembers election. They are inquiring about why voters approved one sales tax about storm and park improvements, but voted down a tax that would have funded a new police jail and courts building. The company is expected to begin the calls on Saturday. Officials say they will use this information to decide how to proceed in future elections.
