Educating Retailers About Drug Problem

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
With the recent drug busts in this area, communication between police and informants has become very important. Local pharmacies and retailers have been working with police to help break down crime. Pseudoephedrine, a common over the counter medicine, and iodine are just a couple of the ingredients found in the drug methamphetamine. Several pharmacies and local retailers have been keeping close tabs on these products and who is buying it in excessive amounts to help police find those who are using it to make illegal drugs. The police have also been educating retailers so they can be of more help to the police.
