A Four State explosives plant is dangerously over-loaded. Federal agents say the Slurry Explosive Plant in Columbus, Kansas, could cause damage as far away as a mile if an accident were to occur. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms seized the plant. It is licensed to store 909,000 pounds of explosives, but agents found more than four million pounds. Attorneys for Slurry say the company was in the process of correcting the problem when agents seized the plant.
