Kansas City pharmacist Robert Courtney pleads guilty to all federal charges for diluting chemotherapy drugs given to cancer patients. 49-year old Courtney stood before a federal judge today and admitted to committing 158 separate dilutions for 34 patients. In his confession, Courtney wrote that he was motivated by a need for money, he said he had a $600,000 tax liability. Courtney had been scheduled for trial next month on 20 counts of tampering with chemotherapy drugs. His plea bargain earns him a recommendation from prosecutors for a prison term of 17 and a half to 30 years.
