Ottawa County commissioners say no to proposed involvement with county zoning for gentlemen`s clubs. The Oklahoma Senate Bill 1000 gives county commissioners the right to zone their county to keep gentlemen`s clubs in designated areas. During their weekly meeting, Ottawa County Commissioner James Leake said the commission agreed to not become involved with the bill, but that doesn`t mean they are out of the woods. If the bill should become law, the commission would then have to zone Ottawa County properly. Something Mr. Leake says he is not looking forward to.
