A new list aimed at making the public aware of sexual offenders hits the web. The city of Miami now lists its registered sexual offenders on its citywide web site. Police Chief Gary Anderson says the new site received 450 hits on its first day and the police department had not begun advertising the new site. As of Monday, 22 people were listed on the sex offender site. Ottawa County Sheriff Dennis King says his department is exploring ways to get a countywide offender list available to the public, but no web site exists.
