Charge Pending Against Fort Scott Coach

Charges of eavesdropping are pending against an area coach and teacher. Randy Carter of Fort Scott Kansas was arrested and later released by police. Investigators say Carter was allegedly videotaping students without their knowledge. A student at Fort Scott High School reported such an incident. School administrators then notified police. Carter was arrested on a probable cause warrant. Formal charges are pending with the bourbon county attorney`s office. The charge of eavesdropping is a misdemeanor in Kansas. Carter is a longtime employee of the Fort Scott school district.
