I began working as a reporter for KSN in September of 2000, and I call two cities home. I went to high school in Jefferson City, Missouri. I also grew up in Festus, Missouri which is about 40 miles south of St. Louis. Just take I-55 south and exit when you see the White Castle. Joplin really needs one of those ASAP.

Before working at KSN I was a reporter at KOMU/NBC8 in Columbia, MO.
I attended the University of Missouri-Columbia and graduated from the Broadcast Journalism School in 1999. Go Tigers!!!!

Since September of 2010 I've been doing a daily segment on the hour-long six newscast called "Brad's Beat." Every night I spotlight some of the most interesting people in the four states and try to leave you with a smile and laugh at the end of every story.
In 2000 I started a segment called "The Gadget Guy." I spotlighted unique gadgets, inventors and fun toys. I retired that segment in 2010 and now just focus on telling fun feature stories on "Brad's Beat."

Hobbies: When I'm not putting a microphone in peoples faces, I enjoy many things. A few of my passions include updating the most popular Spider-Man fan site on the internet. It's called the "Spider-Man Crawl Space" http://www.spidermancrawlspace.com

I've been a fan of the wall-crawler ever since I was a small web head. I started the site in 1998 and the website has been featured in Entertainment Weekly, USA Today and on Marvel.com.
I also enjoy collecting DVD's and listening to "Old Blue Eyes" himself, Frank Sinatra.

Favorite Movies: The Star Wars Trilogy, The Godfather 1 and 2, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, Aliens, Uncle Buck and Planes Trains and Automobiles.

The best thing about my job is that it is never the same. I walk into work everyday and meet new people each and every day. I get to tell their story. One of my role models is journalist Charles Kuralt. He was able to see a story in almost any situation, and I strive to be that good.

I've been married since 2005 to Wendi Douglas. Together we have two beautiful daughters named Ava and Alyce. I also have two untrained beagles named Bogey and Bella. They won't sit, roll over, but they will howl but not on command.
