Teen Pleads Guilty in Hit & Run Case

A 17-year-old charged in connection with a hit and run enters a guilty plea. Larry Flowers pleaded guilty today to two counts of involuntary manslaughter. He also pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree assault. The charges stem from an accident that happened last September at 7th and Main in Joplin. Police say Flowers was traveling southbound when he hit a car with four Baxter Springs residents inside. Two of the Baxter residents died in the accident. Flowers sentencing is set for May 13th.
