Protective Order Filed Against Grove Officer

Updated: January 7, 2009
Four-State officers fight back in support of one of their own. 18-year old Aaron Amendolara of Grove, Oklahoma filed a temporary protective order last Tuesday against Grove police officer Lance Fields. Amendolara alleges that Fields accused he and his father of huffing glue and slammed him to the ground while making threats and cursing him. A hearing is set to discuss the matter Monday night at the Delaware County Courthouse in Jay. Fields was placed on paid administrative leave pending results of a hearing set for Monday. Provisions of the temporary protective order do not allow fields to carry a gun until the matter is resolved.
