Update on Accused Serial Killer

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
An accused serial killers murder trial will stay close to home. A judge today denied a defense motion that the trial be moved for John Robinson. Robinson`s attorneys say the case has gotten too much media attention for him to get a fair trial in Johnson County. In his order, the judge says he`s confident that jury selection methods will result in a fair and impartial jury. Anderson says if it becomes apparent during jury selection that impartial jurors cannot be found, he`ll order a change of venue. Robinson is charged with capital murder of the two women found in the barrels on his Linn County farm. He is also charged with killing another woman in Kansas, and three more in Missouri.
