Carter Fired, But Not Officially

The Fort Scott School District puts plans into motion to end biology teacher Randy Carter`s employment with the school. The move comes after Randy Carter was charged with multiple felonies. He is accused of videotaping young girls in his home as they used a tanning bed. The first step in the termination process involves process involves notifying carter of the board`s decision. He will be given until the 22nd to contest the termination. Before Carter can officially be fired, the board must meet with a hearing officer who will make the final determination about his employment. In the meantime, Carter remains suspended from the school district but still receives a salary.
