People from all over the country will soon be traveling to the show me state. March marks the beginning of tourism season in the state of Missouri, an important time for the area`s economy. Tourism in Missouri is a $12.5 million dollar per-year industry. For every dollar spent in state marketing, tourism generates over $53 in spending by travelers. More than a 250,000 Missouri residents are employed by the travel industry.
