Man Arrested on Statutory Sodomy Charges

A local man is arrested for allegedly sodomizing three children. Joplin Police say 46-year-old William Laturner of Joplin has been arrested and charged with statutory sodomy in the first degree. Police say all three of the victims were younger than twelve years old. Sergeant Meyer says Joplin Police are still investigating the matter. Anyone with information on Laturner is asked to call the Joplin Police Department.
