Missouri hospitals will soon receive money to help fight bio terrorism. Senator Kit Bond has announced that $2.4 million dollars will be sent to local hospitals. The funding will assist in the training of handling casualties of weapons of mass destruction. According to Senator Bond local hospitals and clinics are the first line of defense against terrorists who use biological weapons. Neither Freeman or St. John`s Hospital know when or even if they will receive their funds from the state.
