This year, experts say Americans will spend 11-billion dollars on food and drinks for the big game on Sunday.
Wade Fulford, Manager of an area GFS store says, "They're looking for something that they can heat up really fast so they can get in and get out so they can go enjoy their party."
Chicken wings and meatballs are some of the heartier options, and chips and dip are a mainstay.
And don't forget the unsung heroes of a Super Bowl party...dessert. Things like Snickerdoodles... the "official cookie of the Super Bowl". There is also food to show your support.
"New York Cheesecake, and the New York Strip Steaks, it seems kind of corny but we've been selling quite a few of those right now", says Fulford.
And to wash down some of your snacks...
"Without a doubt, it's got to be beer. People are really coming in and loading up on the beers", says Bryan Criswell with Big Red Liquors.
But if beer isn't your drink of choice, there's always a margarita, which Bryan says is the number one selling cocktail out there right now.
Super Bowl Sunday is second only to Thanksgiving for the amount of food consumed, and the majority of it will be eaten before the first touchdown is even scored. And while it takes Americans ten-million hours to prepare all those snacks, you have to make sure you have the ingredients before you get into the kitchen.
"People really need to come in early because the crowds are going to be rushing in", says Bryan.
"We've stocked up heavy, as heavy as we can be but the main thing is don't wait for the last second. "That way you're not standing around or in a hurry. Plan it out ahead of time and it makes your life a lot easier in the end", says Fulford.
