Fans Load Up on Chiefs Gear for the Season

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. -- One of the most popular spots at Chiefs Training Camp in St. Joe this summer, is the Chiefs Team Store tent. Reporter Justin Dougherty with KC Blitz takes a look around at the must-haves for Chiefs Nation.
At Chiefs camp every fan has to walk through the merchandise tent to get to camp.
So every Chiefs fan has probably wondered what to buy?
There's one way to figure out and that's to see what everybody else is buying.
"This is my first time at training camp so I'm just taking it all in today. And checking all the souvenirs out." says one fan.
A reporter asks, ..."What's your number one hot item that you think everyone should buy?"
"I think everything but jersey's and footballs. Just take something home that they'll remember their time in St. Joe," he says.
Kids spend a lot of time in the fan store. A reporter asks one; "Do you need a jersey to be a Chiefs fan?"
"Yea," says one young fan.
"I bought the Chiefs training camp shirt. A pom-pom for my little girl," says another fan.
Reporter: "What are you holding now?"
Kid:"This is a mini-helmet that's really cool."
Reporter: "You have a football."
Kid: "Yea toss it around my house and have fun with it."
Reporter: " How awesome would this look with a Matt Cassel, Jamaal Charles or Tony Moeaki autograph on it?"
Kids:"It would be great, amazing."
Reporter: "A lot of people are buying items but there are people in the tent selling items. I'm here with some Kansas City cheerleaders. What are you selling here?"
Cheerleader:"We're actually selling our 2012-2013 calendar. It's a 16 month calendar shot in Aruba with all 33 girls."
Reporter: "Final question, prediction of the 2012 season. How good are the Chiefs going to be?"
"I'm going out on a limb and saying 12-4 this year," another fan predicts.
"Good, great, awesome, undefeated for sure, we're going to have a terrific year," says a group of kids.
Reporter: "We're talking to fans all over the tent. There are multiple opinions on what to buy. But around here there's only one sure opinion. And that's the Chiefs are number one."
