Bowe Getting Up to Speed After Missing Training Camp

KANSAS CITY, Mo -- Kansas City Chiefs coach Romeo Crennel says his starting units may play longer than other teams in the final exhibition games.

In our KC Blitz report, Crennel says it's critical that the Chiefs bounce back from last week's defeat to the Rams.

His Chiefs will host 2-0 Seattle Friday night.

Meanwhile, Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe was able to practice in full pads Tuesday for the first time since signing his one year contract tender last week.

Bowe missed all of training camp and the first two exhibition games in a contract dispute.

He's back and says he's picking up the new language in Brian Daboll's offensive game plan and should be ready to play as soon as possible.

"I know with a new OC comes new terms," says Bowe. "I'll prepare for it. I got half down today and tomorrow we'll see where I'm at. I'm a professional. It's my job to learn, not matter who's at the bat. I'm learning it pretty fast and I'll see where tomorrow takes me.."

Friday night, the Chiefs meet the Seahawks in pre-season play at 7:00 p.m.
