Marshall Ready For Opener

"I'm excited about the opportunity," said Marshall. "It doesn't get any better than this. We have a tough challenge ahead of us. All I can do is play my role to the best of my ability and take advantage of our opponent and see what happens."
The Bears haven't had a big-play threat like Marshall, perhaps ever. The downside is teams are likely to double-team him to try to take Marshall out of the picutre.
"He knows that's a possibility. I think it's more than a possibility," said Bears quarterback Jay Cutler. "It's going to happen. He's going to have to be a decoy for us. He's going to have to keep running his routes on the backside no matter if there's one guy or two guys on him."
"It'll be really hard for a team to really stop us with the guys we have in the locker room," said Marshall. "But there's no coverage out there that I haven't seen, so I'm prepared."
By the end of the season Marshall's stats are going to be very impressive. At the very least he's going to give opposing defenses a whole lot to think about.
