Cowboys' Secondary May Get Deeper

DALLAS -- The Cowboys' secondary was impressive in Wednesday's win over the New York Giants, but it might have even more depth on Sunday.

Cornerback Mike Jenkins plans on being on the field when Dallas visits Seattle in a week two match up. Jenkins missed the entire off season and did not suit up in week one after having surgery on his right shoulder earlier in the year.

The 28-year-old took part in practice Monday, but his status for Sunday is not definite, and neither is his position. Rookie Morris Claiborne is working Jenkins' normal spot at right cornerback.

"He's been mostly an outside cornerback for us, so we want to get him back comfortable doing what he does," head coach Jason Garrett said.

If Jenkins plays, he will do so behind Claiborne and Brandon Carr, who will start against Seattle.
