Refs; NFL Agree To Terms

By: Michael Spencer
Updated: September 27, 2012

The NFL and the referees union agreed to terms late Wednesday night and the referees wasted no time arriving in Baltimore for Thursday nights game between the Browns and Ravens.

Two long days of negotations proved to be the difference after an outcry of anger and frustration from fans and teams in regards to the ending of Monday's game between the Packers and the Seahawks.

The refs in Baltimore received a standing ovation as they walked onto the field, a greeting that is sure to happen in several stadiums throughout the weekend.

The new deal is good thru the 2019 season.
