Jacksonville, Florida-The Bears exploded in the second half to knock off the Jaguars Sunday 41-3. The Bears broke away from a 3-3 tie at halftime by outscoring the Jaguars 38-0 in the second half.

For the second straight week the Bears returned interceptions for touchdowns. Once again it was Charles Tillman and Lance Briggs who did the honors.  On offense the Bears rolled up a season high 501 yards. They also rushed for a season high 214 yards.  Matt Forte rushed for 107 of those. It's the first time this season he's gone over 100 yards.

Brandon Marshall also shined. He hauled in 12 passes for 144 yards and one touchdown.

The Bears head into their bye week with a 4-1 record and a share of first place in the NFC North. Their next game will be Monday night October 22nd against the Lions.
