And then, it was down to business. The Badgers got out to an early lead, but Penn State battled back in the 1st quarter with a Zach Zwinak touchdown. Zwinak had 179 yards on the day, which put him at 1000 yards in season.
Wisconsin took the lead once again, as Montee Ball rushes for a score that makes him the all-time TD king in college football. The Badgers took a 14-10 lead into the half.
In the second half though, Matt McGloin tossed a TD score to Jesse James that gave the Nittany Lions the lead.
But late in the fourth quarter, Wisconsin was able to score a touchdown in the final seconds of the game on fourth and goal. So the game would go into overtime.
Penn State had the first shot. Sam Ficken kicked a field goal to go up 24-21. And when Wisconsin got a chance to tie with a field goal, they missed, giving Penn State the 3-point victory.
The Nittany Lions end the season with a 8-4 record.
