The Bears couldn't contain Adrian Peterson, as the league's leading rusher ran for over 100 yards in the first quarter alone. Peterson finished with 154 yards and two touchdowns.
Jay Cutler left the game after due to injury, and the Bears continued their most recent late season slide. Cutler faced constant pressure all afternoon. Although he was only sacked twice, he was hit four times, including one shot in the 4th quarter that sent him to the bench for good with a sore neck.
Wide receiver Brandon Marshall set the Bears franchise record for receptions in a season, with 101. Marshall had 10 receptions for 160 yards and a late touchdown from Jason Campbell in the losing effort.
