"We need to," says Lovie Smith. "They've had our number for a while, it's your division opponent, your rival. You need to beat them."
"It's the Packers and the Bears. Any time we play it's significant," says Packers Coach Mike McCarthy. "Having a division championship on the line even makes it better."
Everyone knows what this game means to the Bears' season and their
playoff hopes. But above all of that, the Bears just want to beat
"I have a lot of respect for their team and their players and their accomplishments. But that doesn't matter. Don't like the Packers, and we gotta win," says linebacker Lance Briggs.
"I really dislike the Green Bay Packers and their players," says Bears receiver Brandon Marshall. "But the talk has to back it up. We'll go out there and we'll do everything we need to to get a win."
A win doesn't guarantee the Bears anything, but it does give them hope: hope to still win the division crown, and hope that they can still secure a spot in the playoffs.
