Bears To Interview Singletary 1/8/13

Lake Forest, Illinois-The Bears growing list of coaching candidates now includes Mike Singletary. The team will interview the Bears legend.
Singletary is currently the linebackers coach for the Minnesota Vikings. Before that he spent three seasons as the head coach of the 49ers. He was fired from that position after compiling an 18-22 record.
The Bears priority has been to hire an offensive-minded coach, so this interview with Singletary might be a courtesy interview out of respect for what Singletary meant to the Bears organization as a player.
