The Super Bowl is still over a week away, but downtown Indianapolis is already hopping with events.  So if you find yourself heading to Indy this weekend, you'll find no shortage of things to do.

Events for Friday, January 27th kick off at noon, with zipline rides at the Super Bowl Village.  12 Super Bowl XLVI Student Ambassadors, and other ceremonial riders, including Colts player Gary Brackett, will open the attraction.

Car enthusiasts will want to check out the Super Cars program, which showcases 33 Indy Cars.  32 of the cars represent an NFL team, with the 33rd representing this year's game.  The cars are on display on Meridian Street, just south of Monument Circle.

Then, following the official ribbon cutting for the Super Bowl Village, fans can take tours of Lucas Oil Stadium, and take part in the NFL Experience.

After dark attractions include performances by Jersey Shore's, Pauly D and former Poison lead singer, Bret Michaels.
