This week, Patriots head coach Bill Belichick and Giants coach Tom Coughlin have been busy doing something they really don't like: talking instead of playing.

Both would agree they want to do their talking on the field.

"As far as looking back and putting this in some sort of historical perspective and all that, I'll leave that until another time and try to focus on our game with the Giants," Belichick told the Friday media.

Both coaches and their teams have earned the right to be in Indianapolis. Now, they're ready for the game to arrive.

"I have a great appreciation for this," said Coughlin. "I mean, anyone who goes through this experience and doesn't grab ahold of it, take grasp of the significance of it, and understand that there are outstanding coaches (and) players who never have the opportunity to be in a Super Bowl game to get to this point."

And in less that 48 hours, the talking will end as Belichick and Coughlin settle the score inside Lucas Oil Stadium.
