Cleveland, Ohio-Lovie Smith took no chances risking injury to any of his starters Thursday night. He kept most of them on the sideline for the Bears final preseason game against the Browns.

In their place Josh McCown and Armando Allen shined. McCown completed 20 of 29 passes for 157 yards and two touchdowns. Allen rushed for 83 yards on 16 carries, and he caught five passes for 51 more yards.

McCown's top highlight was a 30 yard touchdown pass to Dane Sanzenbacher in the first quarter. Sanzenbacher made a great one handed snatch in full stride.

The Bears bolted out to a 28-10 lead before the Browns made the final score respectable by scoring a late touchdown and a late field goal.

The Bears ran 68 plays to the Browns 49. The Bears had 337 total yards to the Browns 290 total yards.

The Bears finish the preseason with a 3-1 record and a three game winning streak. Friday they'll make their final cuts to get their opening day roster set at 53.
