Ogletree Shines In Win

By: Michael Spencer
Updated: September 10, 2012

Tony Romo threw for 307 yards and three touchdowns in a 24-17 win over the New York Giants Wednesday night.  His favorite target was the least unexpected.  Kevin Ogletree, who is listed as the number three receiver on the roster had two touchdown grabs.

Ogletree's first TD came on a 10-yard catch in the second quarter.  His second touchdown grab was a 40-yarder, but arguably his most impressive play was on a third-and-10.  With the Cowboys trying to burn time on the clock Romo found Ogletree for a first down just before the two-minute warning.  The Cowboys kneeled the ball and then celebrated as time expired.

Dallas will have a week and a half before its next game.  The team will travel to Seattle for an afternoon game on Sunday September 16th.
