Where Is Felix?

By: Michael Spencer
Updated: September 20, 2012

At one time, not too long ago, the Dallas Cowboys were in love with Felix Jones.

It seems like it's been lightyears since Jones went from starting running back to 3rd down back and kick returner. Part of the reason, and or blame, goes to Jones.  It's not as if he's a constant in the lineup, thanks in large part to numerous injuries.  Another part goes to the Cowboys.  In this "What Have You Done For Me Lately" world the answer for Jones is simple: not much.  Therefore he's on the bench.  Still more of the reason belongs to DeMarco Murray.  After Murray rushed for 131 yards in the season opener the question could be asked, "Felix, who?"

His fall from grace has been faster than his 40-time, yet no one seems to notice or care.  Proving once again, a winning team is a team without problems.
