A Must See | Wild Animal Safari
Bring along the family and friends for a WILD TIME!
Wild Animal Safari is going into it's 4th year in Missouri and is ready to make 2011 more wild than ever! With more animals than before, and ever improving facilities, Wild Animal Safari is the place to go in Springfield for a Wild Animal Adventure!
Our park has much to offer, including our two park animal adventure. You can drive your own vehicle (or take the complimentary bus tour- seasonal) through our Drive-Thru safari and get to experience hand feeding the animals. On the safari the exotic animals will literally come up to your car and eat right out of the palm of your hand. You also get to enjoy our walk-about section (both parts included in your ticket price), here you will find some of our other animals in pens for you to see.
Scattered through our entire park we have approx. 650 animals, (and counting!) including: Tigers, Lions, Black Panthers, Spotted Leopards, Kangaroos, Wallabies, Hyenas, Zebras, Camel, Gaurs, Ostriches, Emus, Lemurs, Monkeys, Deer, Elk, Buffalo, Bison, and more! We even have 2 adult "Ligers" for you too see!
Aside from the Animals, you'll be able to browse the gift shop, and grab a bite to eat at the Safari Grill!
So come on out to the new Wild Animal Safari and have an experience to remember!
Wild Animal Safari does, unfortunately, close due to weather ...
Weather Permitting: Our park will be open everyday possible. With our park being 5 miles through 300 acres of wilderness, Snowy and Icy conditions do cause us to close- causing unsafe driving conditions in our park. Also, days in which the high temperature does not reach above 32 does cause us to close as well. If you are unsure if we are open on the day of our visit- Please call in and our recording will notify you if we are open. Thanks!
Our last ticket will be sold one (1) hour before close, on each day.
