AMARILLO -- Texas voter registration cards should be mailed out next month.

By court order, cards for voters already registered will be mailed out on or before April 25. There's just one more step. Randall County officials say they need to hear from the Secretary of State before they can move by the April 25 deadline.

The last day to register for the expected May 29 primary is April 30.

If your card is expired, your registration is still valid.

Voter registration cards have been delayed because of the delay in approval over the Texas redistricting maps.
